Clark Towers, Inc is a Nevada based non profit corporation. It owns and operates Clark
Towers Apartments, a 134 unit apartment complex in Las Vegas Nevada. The purpose
of this equal opportunity housing facility is to provide affordable housing for the low, very
low, and extremely low income senior individuals and families through the Department of
Urban Development's Section 236 Program and Loan Management Set-Aside Section 8
program. One Section 8 contract covers 116 units on the property. The Colombia
Management Corporation has an on-site management team consisting of a Property
Manager,Assistant Manager, Leasing Agent and 2 man maintenance crew. Residency
is open to all qualified seniors in accordance with the Fair Housing Act.
Clark Towers Apartments does not discriminate on basis of disability status in the
admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, it's federally assisted programs
and activities.
Building "D" houses the Clark Towers administrative offices along with the full service
Laundry Room and a Multi-Purpose Room complete with full kitchen, where planned
events take place such as festive holiday parties provided by management for the
residents and is also available for private affairs upon request. The Computer Center
supports five stations that will serve the Clark Towers senior residents at no cost.
A Library area is complete with an interesting collection of reading material. There are
two large screen TV rooms and a hobbies room with a full size Ping Pong Table, Dart
board and workout equipment: Tread mill, three exercise bicycles, and a scale to
monitor your weight, available to all senior residents.
We have a number of restaurants, food markets and casinos within easy walking
distance from the complex. We also have buses that stop here at our complex to pick up
our senior residents on a scheduled basis, take them shopping, banking, gaming, etc
and pick them up to take them back home or another stop on the route, The casino
buses are free and the shopping buses cost 50 cents. Clark Towers has an in house
service coordinator to assist our tenants in acquiring and completing the forms for
various benefits available from the state and federal agencies. Residents have free use
of a computer center and help from a computer center monitor. All senior residents are
welcome.
